The Witness !

I've been asked to be present at the Dubai Court next Wednesday. Happily, two of our good friends are getting married in Dubai court, and they asked Bahareh and I to be their witnesses. I remember how much fun we had with our witnesses during our ceremony in Sweden. Anyway, I'm practicing my signature, so that I don't leave a messed up autograph for the new couple ;) I guess, the problem with our generation who doesn't quite use a pen and a paper anymore and is totally dependent on typing and using electronic identification all the time is that our hand writings kinda of suck! Let's see how it goes. The excellent news is that the wedding party is in a few weeks and after going through the wedding plan with the groom, I know it's going to be night to remember.

Another moving ahead. Crap !

Today, we were notified by the property owner that she's sold the apartment and that we need to move out in a month. I don't know how you guys define bad luck, but what just happened, happened in the worst time possible. I really like this flat and we are enjoying the neighborhood. The Greens is one of the very few completed communities in Dubai where you don't see much constructions around.

Anyway, what's done is done and we have to accept the fact and move on (out) and if I take the everything-happens-for-a-reason approach of thinking, then I'm sure we will find something better in the same area. Somehow, we always do.
